The mission of the Assertive Discipline Policy is to "Enable all individuals to
discover and fulfill their highest potential.
The effective education of our students requires a school environment in which
students can feel safe and secure. The faculty at Quemado-Datil Schools
takes pride in creating and maintaining a school environment which contributes
to academic and social growth. In order to accomplish this, it is
necessary for every student to know and follow the rules and policies regarding
discipline and supervision. All students are under the authority of the
principal, teachers, bus drivers, teacher aides, custodians and staff members.
When disciplinary actions are needed, a student is sent to the office. In
serious cases, students may be suspended from school for up to ten days by the
