"Level 2 continues to build on the mathematics that
students need to become mathematically literate citizens. While
retaining an emphasis on the presentation and interpretation of data,
Level 2 also introduces such topics as matrix operations, elementary
polynomials, combinatorics, statistics, and fir division. Students
investigate traditional geometry, including proof, within the context of
home building. They explore transformational geometry through
cartoon animation. Other contexts include genetics, business
inventory, radioactive decay, and carnival games." |
