Hello, I am Elena Farr.  I was born and raised near the little town of Cubero, NM.  I graduated from Grants HS and attended NMSU, where I received a B.S. degree in Animal and Range Science.
While going to school, I met Roy Farr, and we married after I graduated.  We have two great kids, Dana, who is 14 and attends 8th grade in Quemado, and Sam, who is 11 and attends 5th grade at Datil Elementary.  We all work together year round to run the family ranch, along with Roy's parents.  In our free time, Roy and I enjoy team roping and taking the kids to rodeos.
I've lived in Catron County for almost twenty years since marrying Roy, and I'm proud to call this beautiful area home.  I've been on the School Board since Dana entered kindergarten 9 years ago, and I am thrilled to be a part of our GREAT school district.  We've come a long way in the past few years, and we are always looking ahead toward continued improvement!!

My name is Gary Roberts and I was elected to the Board in February of 2007.
I was born on a ranch in Arizona and I attended all 12 grades at Tolleson Union School. After completing school, I ranched for a few years.  I then entered the Navy and ended up making a career of it where I served 20 years.  After serving, I completed college with a degree in Computer Science from Coleman College in San Diego, CA.  I have been married to Teresa for 15 years.  We adopted our grandsons in 2002 and they are attending Quemado School at this time.  Thomas is a junior and JJ is a freshman.  I have 2 older sons residing in California.
Now that I am retired, I am enjoying my time on the School Board and deem it an honor to be part of such a vibrant and progressive school district.
